Pyramids , Sphinx Area and Grand Egyptian Museum

Highlights

• Morning (8:00 AM - 12:00 PM): Pyramids and Sphinx Area
• 8:00 AM: We start our day by heading to the Giza Pyramids area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You can enjoy the majestic view of the pyramids, and take wonderful souvenir photos.
• 9:00 AM: Visit the Great Pyramid of Khufu, and explore its internal passages and buried chambers (optional). You can also choose to ride camels or horses around the pyramids for a unique experience.
• 10:30 AM: We move to the Pyramid of Khafre, the second largest pyramid, known for its pyramid that still retains some of its original outer cladding.
• 11:00 AM: Visit the Pyramid of Menkaure, the smallest of the three main pyramids.
• 11:30 AM: Don't miss the opportunity to visit the famous Sphinx, with its huge statue that represents a lion with a human head. You can listen to the stories and legends related to the Sphinx from your tour guide.
• Noon (12:00 PM - 1:00 PM): Lunch break
• Enjoy a delicious lunch at one of the local restaurants near the Pyramids area, which offers a variety of traditional Egyptian dishes.
• Afternoon (1:00 PM - 5:00 PM): Grand Egyptian Museum
• 1:00 PM: Head to the Grand Egyptian Museum, the largest archaeological museum in the world, and houses a huge collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts.
• 1:30 PM: Start your tour of the museum, where you can see the treasures of Tutankhamun, golden coffins, jewelry, masks, and many other priceless artifacts.
• 3:00 PM: Explore the other halls of the museum, which display a variety of ancient Egyptian artifacts, such as huge statues, mummies, tools used in daily life, and arts and crafts.
• 4:30 PM: Enjoy some time in the museum’s souvenir shop, and buy some souvenirs for friends and family.
• Additional Tips
• ** Wear comfortable clothing and walking shoes, as you will be doing a lot of walking during the tour.
• **Bring a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen, as the sun is strong in Egypt during the day.
• **Drink plenty of water, as the weather is hot and dry.
